About OpenApps

OpenApps is a directory for practical web apps. It helps people find a tool, understand its scope, and open the actual app without creating an account.

What we publish

OpenApps lists useful, independently accessible web apps. Each app has an introduction page that explains what it does, who it is for, its data handling, and material limits before linking to the live tool.

Operating principles

We put app discovery and practical use ahead of advertising or vague marketing claims. We describe data sources and limitations where they matter, and we do not present reference information as guaranteed outcomes.

  • No OpenApps sign-up is required.
  • Only published apps appear in the directory.
  • Each app keeps its own functional URL and visual identity.
  • A correction path is documented where an app collects or explains material information.

How the directory grows

New apps are added with a concrete description, a category, language support, privacy notes, and a link to the actual app. Empty categories and placeholder tools are not presented as available products.
