OpenApps publishes app descriptions to help people make an informed choice before opening a tool.
What an app page must explain
Each published app introduction is written for discovery and comparison, not copied from an app’s own help page. It states the app’s purpose, intended users, inputs and outputs, data handling, limitations, and a recent review date where those details apply.
Sources and claims
We prefer original data sources, official provider documentation, standards, and primary references. Material factual claims should be checked against a source close to the claim. We do not publish invented features, sources, ratings, expertise, or performance claims.
Review and corrections
A page is reviewed when its methodology, data source, material function, or policy explanation changes. We correct material errors when they are identified and do not change review dates without a real review.
AI-assisted work
Automation can assist with drafting and structure, but the published page remains subject to factual, policy, and usability review. Automated text is not used to fabricate expertise or create pages without a useful, working app behind them.
